Course Description: In this course, a coach is taught to use interactive processes, learning skills and tools and to develop client-centered strategies and solutions, which move the client toward the rapid attainment of their goals. Participants will develop the ability to establish Client/Coach contracts, and define the nature, limitations, and boundaries of the coaching relationships. As a student you will also have the opportunity to coach and be coached. You will also be coaching the public both in person, by phone and virtual for a real-time, real-life experience. This course incorporates a connection to spirituality, intuition, higher power, and your own inner higher knowing. This is both personal and professional development for the student. You will earn an Avocational Certificate of Excellence and be certified by Seattle Life Coach Training (SLCT). You will be enrolled into CABS - Business Development online, which is self-paced between each class modules.

SLCT Virtual Classroom Courtesies, Guidelines and Requirements.

1) Students must be 100% present for the entire four hours of each scheduled class. Each student should be in a neutral safe quiet space without distractions. TVs off, dogs and kids quiet or with a babysitter, or someone who can support you while you are in your 4-hour module.

2) No student should be multi-tasking. Examples: driving a car, cooking, or balancing other appointments while in class. (If these things are happening you will be asked to log off and leave the classroom). To receive your certification, you will be required to make up the modules you have missed in the next class offering. This will delay your completion of the program.

3) During class microphones are to be muted unless you are speaking. Students' cameras must be on and in front of the screen and visible for the instructor and peers to see you during class hours. Except during our breaks or if you need to go to the restroom. However, if you are gone for a long period of time the instructor will assume you have left the class and document your absence to be given to Student Services.

Life Coach Training Declaration

By signing below, you understand that the Life Coaching training is entrepreneurial in nature and has no guarantees or assurances of job placement. By enrolling, I understand that the curriculum is designed to assist with my own personal growth and the development of my unique gifts and can lead to my own practice in which self-employment is declared. I understand that Seattle Life Coach Training (SLCT) success is committed to assisting individuals to take their gifts out into the world in a loving and profitable way. However, I am clear that there are a limited number of job placement opportunities in this field in the local market currently.

This agreement is entered into between Seattle Life Coach Training (SLCT) and yourself. You are agreeing to purchase the Virtual Life Coach Training Program, which is 140 hours. The first class begins on February 22, 2025, and the last day is July 26, 2025. The award for completion of this program is an Avocational Certificate of Excellence. 

Tuition Refund Policy 

Seattle Life Coach Training (SLCT) agrees to refund within 30 days all prepaid tuition in excess of tuition due in accordance with the following refund policy upon withdrawal by the student from a course.

1. A full refund of all monies paid will be made if the applicant is not accepted into the course for which he/she registered.
2. Students have the opportunity to withdraw within (24-Hours) before their scheduled class, at which time the student will receive all monies, minus
   50% of the tuition paid. If the student decides to withdrawal once they begin their first class, the student will receive all monies due to them,
   prorated, minus 50%.
3. Registration fees, supplies and deposits are non-refundable.
4. If a student chooses to drop a course, he/she must notify the Student Services Specialist immediately. Tuition fees will be refunded on a prorated
   basis per course up to 12 hours of completion of that course. After completion of 12 hours of the class, no refund will be applicable.
   Payment plan students who drop the class after 12 hours will owe 60% of contracted balance due, and will be required to complete and satisfy
   their financial contract to receive any academic credit for a class, 90% attendance of the class must be completed.
5. Refunds will be made within 30 days from the date determination or of a direct request from the student and will only be given upon completion
   of the exit interview questionnaire with an SLCT staff member. A non-refundable fee of $100 will be assessed for any class that a student
   registers and then drops anytime before or after the class start. A student may transfer to another class and at that time must pay a $100.00
   transfer fee.
6. The student and graduates agree not to compete or open a life coach-training program using any of the training materials belonging to Seattle
   Life Coach Training or curriculum. Competition means owning, creating or working for a business of the following type: Life Coaching training
   certification program or any other name, such as: Coach Training, Life Skills, Personal Training or using the curriculum to duplicate the
   certification program. The student and gradates are allowed to utilize the material with personal one on one clients, groups of clients, but not to
   be used as any of the above referenced names or like name. Students and graduates are not allowed to sell or distribute the curriculum at
   anytime.
7. Students have 1-year to complete their program from the time of their first scheduled class. If they go over this time students will be required to pay 50% of the current tuition, plus a $100.00 transfer fee and start over to complete their program.
8. If the student misses a class the student will be able to make up it up in the next offering. 

THIS IS AN AVOCATIONAL OR CONTINUING EDUCATION/PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM. As a continuing education/personal development student, these certificates are issued to enhance your career and life.

Placement Assistance: I understand that Seattle Life Coach Training (SLCT) can not in any way guarantee placement or employment because of training offered. Seattle Life Coach Training (SLCT) is committed to providing professional, high-quality training and support to students in any way possible. Seattle Life Coach Training (SLCT) offers a 20-Hour, 5-week online entrepreneur business class entitled, C.A.B.S. “Coaching in Action Business Series” to support students in successful entrepreneurship.

Acknowledgement of School Policies: The above-named student has received a copy of his or her contact and fully understands the conditions of enrollment in a program of study. This includes achieving satisfactory progress, which is based on a 90% completion as well as, abiding by the student conduct policy. SLCT reserves the right to make changes in course content, allotment of classroom hours for a particular course, learning objectives, and instructors, in the interest of providing the best quality education for the student. If fewer than eight students are enrolled in a class, Seattle Life Coach Training reserves the right to cancel the class with notification to the student prior to class start and all prepaid tuition will be applied for payment for next scheduled class. No monies will be refunded, and all monies paid will only be forwarded to next scheduled class.
